Hi
It is still very hard to run combined class in two different subjects. Although there is a little overlap it is not enough with 21 students to deal with IMHO

Maybe you should consider running IT Apps every 2nd year and SD very year.
Offer the IT apps to combined 11&12 class

Good luck
Andrew

I’ve played with Moodle a lot in the past but I find kids much less reluctant to use these two tools. Codecademy.com has been a life saver for the programming folio and has left me with a lot of time to spend one on one with the year 12’s on U4O2 while my year 11’s have been helping each other with Javascript.

The alternative is running SD, but no IT12. This would have implications on numbers at U34 for the following year. Does anyone have experience running a combined class? How were they sequenced? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
