HA! I am very relieved by this.
Catching exam errors during the marking period in November is one thing, but challenging faulty marking schemes halfway through the next year is unlikely to do any real good.
Now I can cancel tomorrow's rally outside VCAA headquarters ;-)

Of course this raises another issue - so don't throw away your train tickets to the rally in the city just yet.
Is the question suggesting that an instruction *must* modify a variable's content?
An instruction like MSGBOX("Hello World") certainly doesn't!

It's interesting to see that Q9 now becomes the most poorly answered of the Section A questions, with a 13% success rate.
The incorrect option A attracted 45% of students.
