Thanks for that info Russell.

Have downloaded the file.

Actually the downloaded file is in .csv format, after extraction of the .zip 
file, and does contain the leading zeros for NT postcodes. It is only when 
you open the file in Excel that Excel assumes that postcodes are numbers and 
so strips those leading zeros.

In fact you do need the leading zeros in the postcodes which means that they 
have to be treated as text/character strings and not numbers, as previously 
pointed out by Andrew S.
