Regarding post codes,
You can pick up post codes from the postal service on the web at
http://auspost.com.au/products-and-services/download-postcode-data.html
It gives an excel file, which can be dumped as an ascii file and massaged into
the required format. I used it a few years ago with a SAC. It illustrates the point
that some post codes have 3 digits (leading zero stripped) whilst others have 4 -
which becomes very obvious with the sorted file. I used them as implicit validation
with the P/C component of an address - in a combo box, no typing required. Also it
illustrates how business import basic data sets from external entities - for free. Your
taxes at work!

Have you ever wondered where ICT can take you?
Join us for an afternoon session with Swinburne Graduates who will tell you about their 'cool' careers in ICT. From Games and animation through to eForensics. Expand your horizon and learn more about exciting careers in ICT.

Just by the way - northern territory postcodes start with a zero .. Thus
cannot store postcode as number
