[Moodle] Web based emails, myspace,youtube and more

Alan,

we dont block these sites - our approach is to restrict student downloads using Papercut. So if they visit youtube they can use their weekly quota in a few minutes.  Most have now learnt this so they keep clear of the video/music sites.

Staff have access for any educational material they may find.

This is probably off topic and I do beg your indulgence, but does your
school allow students access  to the above. Do your students have
unlimited email storage? If not, what limits do you set for them?
