Correct. Much of the codebase in FC5 will be in RHEL 5 in 6 months time.

This is correct.
However, it's much less of a problem for servers. With desktops, we like
all shiny and latest apps. With servers, we like tried and tested ;-)

You'll find that installing CentOS 4.3 to be as easy as FC3 or FC4.
Updates and patches come through the same package management framework.
It's good to have options. Especially free ones ;-)
