hi Jason

I have been running a staff IT pd program at my school for the past 2 terms.

Some PD has been compulsory for staff pertaining to use of our portal and intranet. These sessions have been tracked and provide staff with some hours towards their VIT registration.

Other PD has been optional and run as 1 hour sessions outsided school hours. Before developing a program I surveyed staff on their perceived needs. I am happy to forward this to you if you think it would be any use. Topics that I have covered/intend to cover are:
introduction to Word
Word Master Class - advanced features
introduction to Excel
Excel Master Class - advanced features
Developing a Comment data base for reporting - faculty based
Introduction to Photoshop Elements
Using and managing email
Introduction to Powerpoint
PowerPoint for the Classroom
How to use PhotoStory
Using Smartboards effectively
Effective File management

Staff are finding the transition from to Office 2007 applications challenging and some of the sessions address this.
If I can be any further assistance please dont hesitate to contact me.

Hi List
As a part of my allotment for next term I have to run a series of PD sessions for the staff at my school. Has anyone else done something similar?
I plan on making them as interactive as possible and to cater for all ability levels.
Has anyone done anything similar?
If so, would you be able to share some ideas?
Cheers
Jason Lappin
