[Busmanagers] Hall Hire and Public Liability

JUA have a policy for Casual hirers.  The school can take it out for up
to so many hirers (for this type of case)   I think from memory its
about $400.00 for the year.  We just then add on a cost for liability to
the hirers fee.  Its probably only worth it tho, if you rent the
facilities out to a few small hirers through the year.

We have a family who would like to hire our hall for a party.  The Dept
requires that private hirers  have there own public liability policy but
this family cannot find an insurance company that will cover them for
this advent.  I have spoken to DET property insurance and JUA and we
definitely can't hire it out without the cover.  Does anyone know of a
insurance company that will offer this cover.

 

(There home public liabity will only cover them if they have the party
at home.)
