We only have this sort of hiring about once or twice a year and parties tend=
 to be more trouble than they are worth.  It's not really worth us taking ou=

JUA have a policy for Casual hirers.  The school can take it out for up to s=
o many hirers (for this type of case)   I think from memory its about $400.0=
0 for the year.  We just then add on a cost for liability to the hirers fee.=
  Its probably only worth it tho, if you rent the facilities out to a few sm=
all hirers through the year.

We have a family who would like to hire our hall for a party.  The Dept requ=
ires that private hirers  have there own public liability policy but this fa=
mily cannot find an insurance company that will cover them for this advent.=
  I have spoken to DET property insurance and JUA and we definitely can't hi=
re it out without the cover.  Does anyone know of a insurance company that w=
ill offer this cover.

 

(There home public liabity will only cover them if they have the party at ho=
me.)
