[Yr7-10it] Searching year 8 material 2009

Caterina Garwoli is my name so hello to all.  I am a part time IT teacher
at Sacred Heart girls college Oakleigh and have been there for 1.5 yrs. 
Prior to that (and 3 kids and Dip Ed) I worked in IT Development/Support
at ANZ, Orica & Ansett before it went under...

Anyhow I am looking for new material for Year 8 to replace an entire term
of powerpoint which I beleive is out of date.

Don't know if Gamemaker would be interesting for girls?  Would appreciated
any ideas.  We have 2x 45 minute periods each week with 30 girls in a
computer lab. Already we cover excel, Flash and Access.

Feedback would be appreciated.
