David Bowie Is (https://www.acmi.net.au/exhibitions/bowie/) tells the enthralling story of the boy from Brixton who became an international cultural icon. Featuring over 50 legendary costumes, the exhibition showcases Bowie's impact as a performer and screen star.

Join DATTA Vic and costume designerChloe Greaves (http://www.planetartsmelb.com/104910) in a workshop designed for textiles teachers, fashion fanatics and Bowie fans alike!
* Visit the David Bowie Is exhibition, and see a huge range of original costumes, alongside planning notes & sketches and video interviews with Bowie's favourite designers
* Learn about the work of award winning Chloe Greaves, and how costume designers tell stories, convey character and adapt a range of inspirations within their art.
* Come early and catch Orry kelly, Dressing Hollywood (https://www.acmi.net.au/exhibitions/current/orry-kelly-dressing-hollywood/) , and stay behind afterwards, grab a drink at the Bowie Bar, and enjoy a DJ session late into the night!
* You'll receive a Certificate of Participation in PL
* Also suitable for VISCOM & Studio Arts Teachers - spread the word to your colleagues!

Thursday 15th October, 5pm - 7pm*
