[Technical] Antivirus and anti-malware protection

Hi all. 
 
Our Symantec Endpoint Protection licence is expiring and I am
considering another package, possibly Sophos. Does anyone out there use
it and are there any teething issues or existing issues? 
 
Apart from Sophos, what is being used by most other schools ?
