Hi Neville,

Nice to hear from you!
Your advice is great, I will follow up, thank you.

Have a nice time on retirement.
I suspect we will hear from you in some other role soon, you are very experienced and good SE teacher to retire completely.

Warm regards, Alex Roujnikov

Hi Alexandre,

I had the same problem with this printer that I purchased from Altronics, where they failed to honour the warranty.

CEL printers apparently are not very reliable. If you contact CEL in Hong Kong they say they will fix the printer, but you will have to pay for repairs and shipping to Hong Kong and back again.

I was very upset as the printer had been repaired twice and the last time it was repaired Altronics had it for 6 months. When we eventually got it back It worked for 2 weeks and the the bed heater failed. They refused to repair the printer and were very unhelpful. All up the printer worked for a little over 2 months.

My suggestion is look for a new printer from someone else, other than Element 14 or Altronics.

My son has a Creality Ender 3 Pro which was around $375 delivered and it prints much better than the CEL Robox and was about $1,000 cheaper. Do your research online before buying the next printer, there are plenty of much cheaper printers with better print quality than the CEL Robox.

Cheers

Neville Young

Dear Colleagues,

I have faulty 3D “CEL Robox” , model RBX 01 printer (made in Hong Kong).

Distributor “14 Element” from Sydney does not know how/where to fix it.

Do you know? Please advise
