Wow, what a blast from the past!
Farewell Andrew Shortell ...
Great to hear from Paul Pascoe who is responsible for the success of my
granddaughter in VB Studio, and teaching me heaps.
Thanks Paul.

I left high school teaching in 1997 after a short stint as Chair of the
Information Systems (predecessor of SofDev) Exam Setting Panel, spent 13
years at Holmesglen Institute before retiring 10 years ago.
Like Andrew I look back on the 1980s as the "golden years" of HSC Computer
Science with BBC Microcomputers, COMAL and we even used Logo for one year
for Year 12 programming. "Students don't like recursion!"

Also thanks to Kevork for the lists which have kept me up to date with
what's going on.
