For a Python GUI the best and simplest is PySimple, it can be learnt and used in 30 minutes. Very suitable for year 12 and down to beginners.
Just download the package into PyCharm – the best of the development software for Python.

Hi all,

All of my student (Unit 1) are Apple users so it’s been tricky trying to navigate a work around VB which is what I have come to find nearly everyone is using!

We are learning Python and we will use Python IDLE and Tkinter for GUI building. Certainly not as intuitive as VB but as we have no Windows machines, I have no choice! They all have Grok subscriptions and have completed the Python courses which a FABULOUS.

I’d LOVE to hook up with anyone else who is teaching Python – if you’re out there please get in touch!

I'm going to suggest students with Apple machines who can't run Windows on them, to learn Python on Grok Learning. Grok is free till July.
