[Year 12 SofDev] OSI (and other) CISCO videos

Hi guys,

 

Speaking of resources, and for those of you that don't know about them,
there are a very good series of video tutorials on VB, all the C's (C to
C++), Java, Ruby, Python, PHP, etc at this address:

These guys are pretty cool for computer nerds, despite the sometimes
tiresome American accent, and the VB tutorials just about completely cover
everything necessary in the SD course, maybe even more than really
necessary. (I haven't had time to check out the other language videos yet). 

 

Also there, you will find, under the 'Computer Science' category some useful
OSI and networking videos (and some UDK tutorials I find very helpful with
my 9/10 Games Authoring course).

 

For those of you who live under a draconian system, where kids are banned
from watching youtube, as do I, you also might find this useful:

This allows you to copy the tutorials (with reasonably good quality) and
save them where the kids have access, but it only works with youtube
however. Fortunately, all thenewboston tutorials have a 'watch this on
youtube' link directly underneath them.
