[Year 12 SofDev] Starting SD for the First time Next Year

Hi Ben,
I have attached a worksheet about data types and data validation which I used last year. Students can use the help within VB rather than relying on texts.
Adrian also has a pdf of chapter one of his text which I am sure he can send you if you want students to make a start on the text.

Hey SD Mailing list!

I'm starting up Soft Dev for the first time at my school next year. We have a week of transition coming up at the end of this year (a few weeks away and closing fast!). Just wondering what I should do with the students, I will get 3 double periods (3x100 mins = 300mins) with them, and they wont have the Text's. I'm using VB.NET 2010.

Any suggestions on what would be a good idea to do in this transition time? What do other people do?
