Hello Allison,
I used to use Java and did create a basic database. I now use C# which is
very similar, mainly because it is contained with Microsoft Visual Studio
2008 (but so is Java isn't it). You can just do a basic DB say of a students
in a school and open/write/read/save/close student files. Are you using
Visual Studio or Borland?

Subject: [Year 12 SofDev] Java databases help
Hi All
I am struggling really bad with the programming for this course. I do not
know a lot of Java and it scares me and I've had a look at the next SAC and
realised that it was databases which I have no idea how to cope with in
Java.
Are you able to do them in Access and then link to them??? If so how is this
done?
Any help is welcome as I am in over my head with this.
Also, are we able to do the Unit 4 SAC 2 before the Unit 4 SAC 1?
Thanks
Allison Kenins
