Hey, wait a minute Kevin. What do you mean you have tendered your 
resignation ?
You mean you've left teaching or left Year 12 SD ???
There are some things that we have taken to be permanent and you have been 
one of those in the form of the SD teacher from way , way , way back when 
they were talking imperative vs non imperative languages. I even remember 
most of your questions at VITTA conferences in sessions we both sat in. Eg. 
" Don't forget country schools ... ".
 In fact I remember your question at the VITTA conference circa 1994 -5 when 
you said you would argue to ( was it to the death ? ) about the VCAA's 
interpretation of the two language types and Anwar Slade the then State 
reviewer said, " well then there might be blood on the floor if we take that 
line ...." or similar . You stood your ground.

Kevin, you are an institution in the SD fraternity and seeing these words 
not only gives me a feeling of shock but also one of genuine grief as if 
we've lost a family member.
Won't you reconsider ?
