Hi everyone (and apologies for the cross posts),

 

I would like to follow up Rob’s email concerning SwinGame by saying that
VITTA is very pleased to be working closely with Swinburne Uni. on this
initiative (and others).  The work that has been done in created the website
and the materials that are available so far – is terrific, so I would
encourage you all to check it out (even if your students do not ultimately
enter the competition).  

 

VITTA and Swinburne Uni. are currently in the process of using these
materials as the basis for the 2008 Programming Awards – so that students in
years 7-10 will also have the opportunity to get involved!  More on this
soon – but in the meantime, let your students know about this exciting
initiative and good luck!
