[Philosophy] Two questions

Ian,
I agree with what Richard has responded with and as I teach Classics it is 
noteworthy to understand that the Roman interpretations of Greek mythology 
can cause confusion about Greek myths but added to this problem is the fact 
that the Greeks had their own myriad of interpretations over the centuries 
and regions. Sorry not much help but this site may be of some help to help
