Worth joining in to listening to this streamcast at Wednesday at 6:30 p.m
(for Eastern States)

Martin spoke at the VITTA conference a couple of years ago. There are some
great changes mooted for Moodle 2.0 that mesh it very nicely with other
tools and web resources. :-)

Regards Roland

Hello e-chalkers

Just a heads up on a gathering of MoodlersWA (a voted-on funky name for
Moodle users group of WA...) tomorrow, *Wednesday 19 May at 4.30 - 6.00pm at
SIDE (School of Isolated and Distance Ed), 164 Oxford St,
Leederville*(Admin block)

This one is a real treat since we'll have Martin Dougiamas, creator & Lead
Developer of Moodle (and a regular at our gatherings), take us through
Moodle 2.0 release.

All old hands or first timers welcome to come along (and invite colleagues),
then have a chinwag over a bite of pizza afterwards in the staffroom.

If you want to join MoodlersWA, simply go to http://ozmug.com.au/ and
register there, send me an email at tomaz at com or pull me aside tomorrow
night at SIDE (sounds sinister but need not be ;-) ...

For those of you not in Perth or otherwise unable to come, check this
Ustream from about 4.30pm WA time tomorrow (Wed) so you can see it live too.

I sincerely hope we get the Ustream going, if not please don't shoot...
please keep in mind that Ustream is sometimes blocked in schools :(

See you there

Tomaz
