Day 1 is aimed for those evaluating learning management systems or who are
new to Moodle. Topics covered include LMS essentials, Moodle basics, course
design, collaboration tools and assessment. Day 2 will extend those familiar
with learning management systems, particularly Moodle. Topics covered
include user management, grade book, data management, global settings and

-About your LMS Trainer-



Chad Outten is Director, Learning Technologies at My Learning Space. He is a
qualified teacher with 15 years experience in the Australian education
sector. His clients include Education Queensland, Study Group, Ergon &
Shell. He has previously worked for All Hallows' School, The Scots College,
NSW Board of Studies, University of Sydney, UNSW & ABS. Chad is registered
with the Queensland College of Teachers, he is also a member of the
e-Learning Guild, Australian College of Educators & QSITE. Chad is
passionate about e-learning, admires educators & understands the value of a
good LMS to address the challenges of 21st century education. Chad is a
Moodle certified teacher and has been a mentor assessor for the
internationally recognised Moodle Teacher Certification program. He is a
member of the ‘Particularly Helpful Moodlers' group at moodle.org. In 2008,
Chad organised the National Moodle Conference held in Brisbane.
