I want to be fully informed of the implications of moving the school
over to open file formats via a shift to Open Office.
If we move to Open Office and odt files etc, only to find that it can no
longer support MS docs down the track then I want to know. "Unofficial"
support won't cut it with the skeptics. I want to move away from MS
Office as OO gives greater accessibility to students on low income. Can
you imagine if the current "selling point" of being able work with both
file formats was suddenly lost?
