[Opensource] OpenOffice saving in XP

Just wondering, why are you concerned about this? If you are concerned
about data longevity, use open document format. AFAIK there is even a
filter to open these files in microsoft office. If push were to come
to shove, worst case would be that openoffice would officially cease
to support MS office files. There would still be unofficial support as
the source is out there. Your ODF files would be safe.
