[Moodle] Forums/Wikis - replicating courses in 09

In the Administration Menu of the course select "Reset".  It will then
give you a list of all the different areas, Logs, People, Forums etc.
Select the areas you want to be cleaned up for next year and then scroll
to the bottom for the "Reset course" button.  

 

As long as you leave the Forum area clear you should be fine.

 

As for the wiki, I am believe that it will leave it in place, but I
would test it on a practice course before running it on a live one.

Have you ever had a student tell you that they lost their homework? Or
that they could not hand in the work because they were home sick on the
day that your class was on?  Load the homework onto your Moodle course
and the students can download it at any time of the day or night.  Get
them to hand in their homework via Moodle and they can hand it in even
when you do not have that class. No more excuses, just results (the

Hi all,

We have launched a college-wide version of Moodle for the first time

this year and are beginning to navigate the waters of rolling over

existing courses into '09.  Naturally we want to keep as many resources

as possible for next year.

 

Does anybody have any knowledge as to what will happen to student

contributed resources, such as forums and wikis once the contributors

are no longer enrolled in a course?
