[Moodle] Moodle reference point

I've been thinking.
I wanted to create some discussion on how ICT can be used with Moodle and be
able to produce some concrete examples everyone is free to look at. It
occurred to me that it would be a good idea to have a sort of "public
Moodle" specifically created for this list which this list can refer to and
post examples to. It would then be a simple matter to make reference to an
idea or example and hyperlink directly from the email. That way it would be
easy to still use this list and directly illustrate ideas etc.
If such a Moodle can be created it could have a standard email enrolment
procedure and we can make it known that this is for development purposes for
ICT teachers. Each member can have their own class and be free to develop
resources in that class. This would certainly promote free thinking and
collaboration of ideas.
What do you think? Can we do it?
