[Year 12 IT Apps] Access Question

Interesting problem Jarrod

When I access the form for orders and fill it in it tells me the Cost Field is empty regardless of how much I put in?
Thus it will not let me go into design view....oh have managed to get in what about the cost services field?
The macro seems fine but not sure how it writes to the order table?

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone can help me with a simple solution I'm sure to the following Database issue which you can find attached.

Essentially the form allows entry and calculates the costs of a service, however when they run an update query to add the entered record to the orders table nothing happens. Driving me nuts


Any insight into this would be great. Im certain I'm missing something very simple
