Hi Harry

Why not try mySQL and PHP? You could something like PHPmySQLGenerator from the SQL Maestro Group, the basic version is free and distributable and more than adequate for simple tasks. This will generate your PHP access forms for you (quite sophisticated ones too).

You could use XAMPP on any desktop and turn it into a webserver, no need to build a LAMP box and then use the built in phpMyAdmin to create tables, upload data and create queries and relationships in simple SQL. It's a lot less daunting than it might first appear and it's all free and easily accessed.

I find Access across a network to be glitchy and slow sometimes, quite frustrating, PHP/mySQL/Apache is of course as close to glitch free as you're ever going to get and it's real world, who uses Access to create commercial databases? The minority I expect and then you are stuck with the terrors of Share Point lol. I am going to trial this approach for AOS2 next year.

Kind Regards,
