Hi all,
I'm teaching IT Apps for the first time so am a bit unsure about the sac. If they can take in text books, what's the verdict on having internet access to look at things like tutorials on how to do things in Dreamweaver? (I'm aware this could be a stupid question)

Dear George and colleagues
I think it would be appropriate for students to have access to a textbook, class notes, summary notes etc. If students do a practice SAC I would be very hesitant to allow students to bring it into the real SAC, if it is similar to the real one.

In the past I have not allowed students to bring their notes into SACs because I was under the impression that this was the rule. But Paula's email seems to change things. I don't disagree with Mark's comments but my email was seeking clarification. What is it that we can allow students to bring into SACs?
Paula's statement, "Schools can determine what students take into their SACs..." is slightly open ended. I am not trying to be nit picking here, I just want to know so that I can do the right thing by my students.
