[Year 12 IT Apps] Early planning for IT Apps Unit 3 Outcome 1

hello,
  I have been allocated to teach IT Apps next year, but I haven't taught it this year. I've been reading through past threads, however, I have a question that haven't been answered in the thread.
  As part of the SAC example in the study design on creating an online community on the Platypus Society, it asks for the "input and output requirements" for the site.
 I am not sure whether it is refering to the "hardware/software input output requirements" or something else?  Am I misunderstanding this?
