[Year 12 IT Apps] [Year 12 IT SD] programming language advice

For teachers of Software Development Units 3&4.



I have been asked to take Software Development units 3&4 in 2012 (for the first time)



With regard to the programming language, what version of Visual Basic .NET should I purchase/downlaod(free)?



I would be most appreciative of any advice.
