[Year 12 IT Apps] Anyone using Ruby for IT at Year 12/11

Sorry, I'm going to be a pedant here!

Ruby is NOT Ruby on Rails.
Ruby on Rails uses Ruby as its language, but is a development framework for rapid development of applications.
Ruby is a language akin to Perl - with all the strange tokens that made Perl brilliant and annoying.

Sorry to be bothersome!

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] Anyone using Ruby for IT at Year 12/11

Hi,
I was just wondering whether anyone is or has used Ruby? More commonly known as Ruby on Rails or just Rails. It seems like an interesting environment that could be used in ITA and ITSD. I am currently learning the language and even from the early stages of the tutorials it seems a very good fit for senior IT classes.

Thanks in advance

George
