Hi Robert,

My class of 16 have been split into 4 groups, they have 4 real clients, cuffoff.com, hightide3000.com.au and two in house websites. One group found their own client, and I kept my ears open all year for other people I know. The real clients external to the school need to be understanding of many factors however, the students find it beneficial as they cant use their usual excuses for handing in work late. Many of them love seeing their work go live on the internet also.

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] Unit 2 Outcome 3.

Folks,

Trying to get my head around some of the new study design for IT and I wanted to know how to interpret "client" in Unit 2 Outcome 3.  Can I as a teacher simulate a client with my students issued a case study to complete for their projects or do I have to go out and find clients that my students report to?

When I read it I feel I am supposed to have a real world example and I am going to find it hard to find projects with real world clients.

Your thoughts??
