[Year 12 IT Apps] Advice on running a PHP/MYSQL course? (Lee, James)

Hey peoples,

Does anyone know the easiest best way to set up PHP/MYSQL to work in a
computer lab, so 
students can create and test their PHP work easily in a localised way that
doesn't involve 
uploading to a web server every time you change something? 

Any suggestions on the best way to teach PHP as well? Target audience are
year 9s.

Any advice is appreciated,
