[Year 12 IT Apps] ot: Gillard Money?

Hi all.  By the end of 2011, DEECD expects Vic government schools to have a
1:1 computer:student ratio (for students in years 9-12).
We have our NSSCF (Rudd money) ratio of 1:2 already sorted, but to get to
1:1 we need to get another 500 computers.

I have heard nothing about additional NSSCF or DEECD money to double our
computer fleet, yet I am supposed to have a 2011 ICT budget finished by this
time next month.

Has anyone heard even a rumour of funding?  I certainly do not plan to get
our school to pay for it, only to have federal or state funding announced
(say) in Easter, and not be able to claim it because we already had reached
the mandated ratio.

Grrr!
