Hi Brett,
Welcome along !
Having taken on IT Apps 6 weeks ago with no experience in the current cycle I too feel I need a red ..... !
So, let us proceed hand in hand and see what we can dig up.
There are sample SACs on the VITTA CD . Do you have access to these ?
And yes, sadly I couldn't dig up any SAC41's on any email sent through edulists in this cycle though there are some for SAC42 ...... .
I was looking at writing a SAC at the end of the week or at least start on modifying the VITTA scenarios to shape another SAC situation.
Waiting with you for a donation ...... :)
As for worksheets, skill activities and the like, I am also trying to build up a set so happy to share.
I do have the question tasks and pages for the text from Potts that is attached here to get moving and the great Mark Kelly has a good number of presentations (ppt) covering the Key Knowledge.
Speak soon no doubt
Kevork

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] U401 Apps help
Hi all,
I am sitting here writing U4 Apps OC1 and being struck by a good deal of insecurity (read OMG I'm doing it wrong!).
I am trying to write it to include the keys skills below and using advice from Mark Kellys 2008 Melb Uni lecture for a grading scheme.
I have such an ability spread in this years group that I'm struggling to figure exactly where to pitch it. This is my first year with Apps, last year we did SD and I was lucky enough to have a class of evil genii that made it easy to set the bar (well out of reach lol).
There are no sample U401 SACs on Edulist to get a feel, I was hoping that some kind soul might have a U401 SAC they could share for perusal purposes.
Alternatively are there QATS available for Apps and are they any good? Thoughts?
Thanks
Brett Groves
