[Year 12 IT Apps] Bulletin Notice

Dear colleagues

 

There are several important notices regarding the reaccredited study
design in the July 2010 Bulletin . The messages relate to:

*         an erratum to IT applications, Unit 3, Area of Study 2 on page
32 of the 2011-2014 study design

*         the approved types of websites for Unit 3, Area of Study 1

*         Software tools and functions for both Units 3 and 4.

 

All of these notices appear on pages 5 and 6 of the Bulletin.

 

Just a reminder regarding the software tools and functions - it is
expected that students acquire all of the listed functions, however, it
is not an exhaustive list. For school-assessed coursework purposes,
students do not have to demonstrate their ability to use all of the
functions, but for examination purposes a 'theoretical' question could
be asked on any one of these functions.

 

In the February Bulletin of 2011, an updated version of the key
knowledge and key skills for Area of study 2 will be published so you
can just 'paste' this over page 32 of the study design (2011-2014).
