Hi Antonia,
 
I can strongly recommend DayMap.
 
It is a very powerful system, it does everything from class roll marking, to resource booking, to an intergrated Sharepoint, which students can upload work to (assignments)

Hi Antonia,
We are using Microsoft Sharepoint and it works well enough. (The latest 2010
version is in beta) If your school is mainly PC based then it should
integrate fairly well. I and several other staff use Macbooks and we find
there are no real issues there either except for the inability to view
documents in "explorer view" but other than that it works OK from both home
and school.
