[Year 12 IT Apps] Intranet/Extranet solution

Antonia,
We are in the process of doing the same.
So far we have investigated Edumate, Simon(Ballarat CEO) and will be
looking at eworkspace as well.

All of these systems in some way connect with out school admin systems.
At the moment we are undertaking a complete rationalisation of all of
our systems across the college. When and if required we are replacing
systems but are not changing any system unless there are real benefits.

HI fellow listers and sorry for the cross-posts.

This year I have a new position (Director of Learning) at a new school
(St. Aloysius College, North Melbourne) and am investigating the
purchase
and implementation of an intranet.

We have a few in mind and have googled several, however, I would like to
hear from those of you have Intranet solutions - what they are? your
opinion/evaluation? approx. cost if you know it? their functionality;
other. Looking forward to your responses.
