[Year 12 IT Apps] ITA List document sharing

Hi Mark!
The issue is not about what version of MS Office McKinnon or any other
school has "standardised on". Unless of course the whole world has
standardised on it.
This is an issue of information sharing, making sure that we have a file
format for the edulists, not just the ITA and SD lists, that all users can
easily create/open.
Those of us on the ITA and SD lists are perhaps rather more IT savvy than
those on other lists.
So my concern.
Before I retired from full-time teaching, and so lost my govt laptop and
associated software, I just went on quite happily using Microsoft Office
file formats and assumed that everybody else was able to open those files.
Now I am retired and of course I have no (no cost) access to the new MS
software. Then of course thought about others, either not teaching at
present or in non-govt schools who do not use MS Office 2007.
