Hi all
I recently contributed a post to this list and it appears that some may not
know about me - quite understandable as I do tend to lurk a lot on many
lists and my contributions tend to be a bit sporadic.

As my signature suggests, I'm from over the border.  While I was born in the
Wimmera, my parents at some stage defected to SA and I've been there since.
I do occasionally sneak over the border physically and electronically while
the guards aren't watching ;)

I'm an ICT specialist teacher (8-12) and have been an ICT Coordinator at the
school for many years - ie. I'm old.  The ideal of a 'Free and Open
Education for all' underpins my decisions and actions. I beleive that
schools are societies change agent in a similar way that lungs are for
breathing.

I'm involved in the educational IT scene within my state, nationally and
internationally in various ways.

Please accept my apology if my breach of list protocol by apparantly not
adequately "Always identify his or her self with a clear signature that
shows name, location of school ( if applicable ) and capacity in which
participating on the list eg. Teacher of the subject , faculty leader,
industry representative."
