Hi Marg,

Maybe it would be worth investigating if it would be worth running this
year. If I remember correctly there was a Flash PD that I was unable to
attend last year.

Hi Judee

We ran a flash workshop in Gippsland in 2007 via pd-online. It was not well
attended (about 8 people) however if there was a need we could organise
another one.

Flash, CSS, Action!

This exciting professional learning event has been developed by PixelEd and
VITTA to provide senior secondary IT and multimedia teachers with the Flash
skills necessary to teach ITA, SD, VET IT and VET Multimedia. With only 21

Session 1: CSS - A User's Guide

A good grasp of CSS is now a requirement for working in the Web Design
Industry. Make sure that you understand the basics with this practical guide
to CSS.

Session 2: 3D Effects in Flash

Are you ready to push your Flash skills to the next level? Impress your
students by showing them how to create stunning 3D effects in Flash!

Session 3: Build a Poker Machine in Actionscript

This practical session will introduce you to the concepts of functions,
parameters and randomization - vital concepts for game making in Flash!
