[Year 12 IT Apps] FLASH PD?

Hi Judee,
can I suggest at this stage the following strategy for learning Flash if in the country and unable to attend a PD..
Step 1. Ascertain exactly which version of FLASH you are using.
Step 2. If its the latest, then visit the www.W3Schools.com site and try some of the online tutes in Flash available on the site. 
Step 3. If step 2 didnt help (Flash MX is not the version the tutes are written for, its the next version), then jump on Google and do a search for tutes in your version online. 
This method does work to give you somewhere to go, I know, I did it!  We found we have the MX version so some of the tute stuff was modified to suit our version. I also did the old 'buy a book on it' method..that helps too.

I can recommend the HTML tutes on that site too. My classes are now screaming along in that topic from starting as complete non-HTML'ers to where we are now...its great!

Personally, I still cant stand FLASH!
