We are currently using Steadystate on our new computers. Still getting to
grips with it but it does what it is supposed to do, which is to stop
students making arbitrary changes.

Certainly, it represents excellent value-for-money - no cost!

A very interesting link. We use HD Guard to protect the hard disks on
our college computers, but MS has put out this - for free!

You'll know when we are officially a civilised race: our schools have
all the money they need and the Air Force has to run a chook raffle to
buy a new bomber.
