Hi Jason,

All suggestions so far have centred around software skills and not so
much about how ICT can be integrated into the classroom to enhance
student learning.

Have teachers at your school completed the ePotential survey at
http://epotential.education.vic.gov.au/ ? The survey ascertains where
teachers sit in a continuum of ICT capabilities.

Once staff have done the survey, you (as an administrator) can analyse
the skills of cohorts of teachers in the school (eg Learning Areas or
new teachers vs experienced teachers etc). By using these results you
can develop a framework for ongoing, relevant planning of PD so that ICT
can be used to eventually transform teaching and learning.

The ePotential site also has resources to assist you with planning.

Cheers,

Hi List

As a part of my allotment for next term I have to run a series of PD
sessions for the staff at my school. Has anyone else done something
similar?

I plan on making them as interactive as possible and to cater for all
ability levels.

Has anyone done anything similar?

If so, would you be able to share some ideas?

Cheers

Jason Lappin
