i would be against an IWB in the staffroom - will not get enough use
we had similar discussions and decided to put one in the library
available for class use and when required we move our staff meeting there
luckily for us the logistics of this is notr coomplicated (ie staffroom and libary close by, large open area with tables in library)
hope this helps

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] OT Interactive whiteboard
Dear all
Apologies for the of topic question.
This is relevant to all staff who have Interactive Whiteboards at their school.
Currently the school is looking at purchasing their sixth whiteboard, with the Idea being to place it into the staffroom.
The reason behind it is that they hope it can be used for staff meetings as well as training and show'n'tell for staff.
I can personally see the benefits of that i can also see that it may be a white elephant.
Have any schools done this or heard of this being done and can give me some feedback.
Thanks in advance
Andrew
