Hi Mark

I think it means defining the disaster recovery strategies themselves (e.g.
backup, etc), then showing a means by how those strategies can be tested ,
ie, simulate a power-loss breakdown for a server and see how long it takes
to recover

Bill

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] ITA study design query

Spring is in the air and a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts
of the ITA study design.

ITA Key Knowledge Unit 4 Outcome 2 Dotpoint 5 is "Disaster recovery
strategies, including testing."

I've been wondering how testing can help one recover from disaster.
Sure it can help _prevent_ disaster, but that's not "recovery".

How does testing help after the disaster has struck??

Any ideas?
