[Year 12 IPM] Go Girls Program

Yes I know, I have struck that too - but statistics and research show a
lack of awareness of the opportunities available to them and as
educators it is part of our responsibility to provide this.  15 year
olds have a limited perspective of IT careers, it is a fact.
If nothing else they get to meet some really exciting people - male and
female- and maybe open their eyes a bit. AND they will all get a free
Monitor Mate!

I have only a handful of girls in IT at St. Michael's and when I had a
chat to them about this the comment I got back was "but we just want to
be
treated normally". An interesting observation.
