There's a report on iPods with Grade at Heathmont College here:
http://www.delphian.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=26&Item
id=9

Currently a DEECD project with Corio South, Epsom and Courtney Gardens PS on
iPod Touch in classrooms. Main issues are around wireless access and
edupass.

Using hand held PDA's, phones etc is a good idea. If the hand held is
windows (and Apple I think ) and has wifi it can be connected to the
wireless network. Getting files like pictures and movies off phones can be
complex but having a few USB Bluetooth dongles are helpful. iPods are neat
but I think you should not limit a school to Apple hardware - try to be
elastic as possible.

that's my thought as well...
looking at some of the MP3 player options too, as we don't have any Macs in
the school... is that an issue?
what have others found?

cheers
Suz
